Newsies Jr. Worcester Theatre reviews
The racing was incredible, traffic and parking NOT
The spectators' grounds were either dirt, gravel walkways and green soil erosion control mats so it was dusty and dirty for the track that was resplendent as it should have been being brand new. The mud would have been a very real problem if it had rained during the weekend. Parking lots were even more prone to dust pollution. People will quickly tire of the two-hour trips into and out of the venue if the infrastructure for moving fans to and from the track needs to be improved. Not everyone can afford the $500.00 + helicopter shuttle from the airport to the track. The local media certainly tried to sugar-coat the traffic and parking issues by claiming the wait times and delays were minor and the race itself lived up to expectations. There is a lot to improve upon truth if The Circuit of the Americas hopes to bring Formula 1 back to Austin for repeat performances.
